Introduction

Payment Links is a functionality that allows you to create an URL with a simple checkout. Customers that enter this link are able to either make a single payment or initialize a subscription without visiting the merchant's webpage.

Access

Payment Links functionality is available for all merchants through their dashboard.

Creation

1. Navigate to the Payment Links.

2. Click Add Link in top right corner.

3. In the new modal you will see an option to create payment link to a checkout for a single payment or subscription. It is possible to append section with billing and shipping information. It is also possible to set how many times the payment link can be used.
   
   Charges can be created as single charges unassociated with any customer or as a transaction assigned to a customer ID in our system. All you need to do is to tick the relevant box during creation and choose customerID. Subscription work in a similar manner. Unless marked otherwise, creating a new subscription creates a new customerID.

   • Single payment requires specifying amount, currency and the payment link name. On the right side of the modal you will see a preview of the checkout.

     

   • Subscription requires adding a planID from a drop down list
     
     

4. Click Add Link.
   

Usage

Payment links can serve multiple times. User can set up during creation how may times a payment link can be functional.

Each payment link can be deactivated manually or automatically after it has been used on the given numbers of attempts. In case of an edition payment links are not retroactive.

Both options (edition and deactivation) are available through a context menu on the right side of a specific link, on the Payment Links view.

It is possible to obtain more information on a payment link through clicking on it in the main view. The view offers access to checkout’s settings and possibility of edition.

Charges made with the payment link are presented at the bottom of the page.

Checkout customization

It is possible to customize checkout sent through a payment link in terms of individual header capture, header headline and more.
